Self drive tour of six local gardens all within 5 miles of Kingston. $45 pp. Tickets available from the Village Green Community center front desk
Six wonderful diverse gardens with hosts that enjoy growing perennials, veggies and Koi! Self-drive tour with easy parking at each garden. Come share your love of gardening with others and enjoy a sit in a garden or two. Event is rain and shine. Tickets are not refundable. Maps available at check-in at the VG Community center lobby.
How it went
With 69 tickets sold, and a bright sunny day, garden guests arrived from all corners of the Kitsap Peninsula. It was a wonderful day to linger in each of the diverse gardens, chat with the hosts and garner gardening tips and solutions with fellow visitors.
A huge thank you to the Garden hosts, the Village Green Community staff and volunteers for ticket sales. This was our first Secret Garden tour and I’m sure it won’t be our last!
