Free concerts in the Kingston Village Green Park on summer evenings, 6:30-8 every Wednesdays in July and August with different styles of music every week.
Free concerts in the Kingston Village Green Park on summer evenings, every July and August Wednesdays 6:30-8. Many styles, like Hot Club swing, jazz, Cajun, a string quartet, slide guitar blues — a different band every week.
People bring their own chairs and their dinner. By the second set there is usually dancing on the path. Families spread out all over the park and enjoy.
How it went
The bands all say they really enjoy this venue and audiences enthusiam, and want to come back! Audience members comment they love the variety of music and appreciate the chance to hear fine musicians without having to go over the water. Plenty of merriment and some dancing too!
