What we support
Village Green Arts Program
Provides diverse live music, performance and cultural events, curates and manages the Grand Hallway Art Gallery in the Village Green.
VGAP was created and is managed by volunteer community members that are passionate about the arts. It’s programs and events are funded by donations and grants along with fundraising activities through Friends of the Village Green. Examples of our events are the Sunday Sounds concert series, Music at the Green (summer, outdoors), and rotating exhibitions in the Grand Hallway Gallery, special events like Taste of Culture offered by the Port Gamble S Klallam Tribe and Heritage events for Black History month, Women’s History month, Jazz Appreciation month and others. Our Partners include the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle, the Kitsap Regional Library and others.
