Events and projects that bring the local community together in so many varied ways.
NU2u
First held in November 2025, NU2u is a collaborative vintage and rummage sale organized jointly by the Community center building partners; Boys & Girls Club Kitsap Co, Kitsap Regional Library Kingston, KRL Friends of the Library – Kingston, and Friends of the Village Green (FotVG). By pooling resources, volunteers and sharing the proceeds the initial sale proved to be an overwhelming success and so much fun.

Kingston Secret Garden Tour
On June 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friends of the Village Green hosted the 1st Secret Garden Tour, a self-guided event featuring six exceptional local private gardens. The tour sold 69 tickets and served as a relaxing community-building event. Proceeds from the event supported Greenworks and green spaces at the Village Green. The tour successfully brought neighbors together in beautiful surroundings.

$10 for 10 Year Anniversary Pins
To honor the community center’s tenth anniversary, FotVG launched the year-long $10 for 10 Years pin campaign. This special commemorative fundraiser offers residents a simple, accessible way to support the center’s ongoing work while celebrating a decade of shared community history and connection.
